Your privacy is our foundation. Supplepopz ("we", "our", or "the App") is designed with privacy at its core. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our iOS application.

1. Our Privacy Commitment

Supplepopz is built on a simple principle: your health data belongs to you. We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal health information on our servers. All your supplement tracking data stays on your device and in your personal iCloud account.

2. Data Storage

Local Storage

All your supplement data, intake logs, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This means:

  • Your data never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud sync
  • We cannot access, read, or analyze your supplement tracking data
  • Your data is protected by your device's security features (Face ID, Touch ID, passcode)

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync on your device, your supplement data will be stored in your personal iCloud account. This sync is managed entirely by Apple:

  • Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple
  • We have no access to your iCloud data
  • You can disable iCloud sync at any time in your device settings
  • Deleting the app removes local data; iCloud data follows Apple's retention policies

3. Apple HealthKit Integration

Supplepopz can optionally integrate with Apple HealthKit to sync your supplement intake data. When you enable this feature:

  • We request read/write access only to supplement-related health data types
  • Health data is exchanged directly between our app and HealthKit on your device
  • We never send your health data to external servers
  • You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in the Health app settings

Important: Apple's HealthKit has strict privacy requirements. We comply fully with Apple's HealthKit guidelines and never use health data for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Notifications

If you enable push notifications for supplement reminders:

  • Notification scheduling is handled locally on your device
  • We do not use external push notification servers
  • No notification data is transmitted to us
  • You can manage notification permissions in your device settings

5. Information We Do NOT Collect

To be clear, we do not collect:

  • Personal identification information (name, email, address)
  • Health or medical data
  • Location data
  • Device identifiers for tracking
  • Usage analytics that identify individual users
  • Any data from your HealthKit

6. Anonymous Analytics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated analytics to improve the app experience:

  • App crash reports (via Apple's built-in crash reporting)
  • General usage patterns (feature popularity, not individual behavior)
  • Device type and iOS version (for compatibility purposes)

This data cannot be used to identify individual users and is used solely for improving the app.

7. Third-Party Services

We use minimal third-party services:

  • Apple: For app distribution, iCloud sync, HealthKit integration, and crash reporting

We do not use third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or social media integrations that could track your behavior.

8. Data Retention

Since we don't store your data on our servers:

  • Local data: Remains until you delete the app or clear app data
  • iCloud data: Follows Apple's iCloud data retention policies
  • HealthKit data: Managed by Apple's Health app

9. Children's Privacy

Supplepopz is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided data to us, please contact us so we can address the concern.

10. Your Rights

Because your data stays on your device and in your personal iCloud:

  • Access: Your data is always accessible to you within the app
  • Deletion: Delete the app to remove local data; manage iCloud data via Apple's settings
  • Portability: Export features may be available within the app
  • Control: You have full control over your data at all times

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, through an in-app notification.
